This document explains the rules and protections that apply when you use HitTop.
Information we collect
We process account details, profile and content data, interactions, device/browser information, security logs, approximate country, referring site and service activity. We hash IP addresses in product analytics. Precise device location is requested only when a feature needs it and you grant permission.
Why we use it
We use information to operate accounts, deliver content and messages, secure the platform, prevent abuse, provide analytics, personalize recommendations, and meet legal obligations.
Visibility and sharing
Your chosen privacy settings control public content. Private content is not included in public search indexing. Service providers receive only the information needed to perform contracted functions. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and control
We retain data while needed for the service, safety, disputes and law. Account settings provide controls for privacy, sessions and content. You may request access, correction or deletion where applicable.
Security
HitTop uses access controls, encrypted transport, protected credentials and monitoring. No online system can guarantee absolute security, so use a unique password and two-factor authentication.
